Boxes are due by this Sunday, November 17th! If you picked up a box and are unable to pack it, please return it to the church office.
Thank you!
This holiday season YOU can reach out to others around the world, sharing God’s love and making disciples. Through a simple shoebox gift with Operation Christmas Child, you can help change the world, one life at time. Shoeboxes are filled with school supplies, toys, hygiene items and a note of encouragement for a child overseas suffering due to disaster, disease, war, terrorism, famine or poverty.
What is Operation Christmas Child?
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization headed by Franklin Graham. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Since 1993 Operation Christmas Child has collected and delivered more than 168 million shoeboxes to children in over 160 countries and territories. For many of these children, the gift-filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received.

Our church goal is to collect over 250 packed shoeboxes to send to Operation Christmas Child this year.

1. Pick up a box from the worship center foyer and decide if you want to pack for a boy or girl (affix boy/girl label).
2. Include a “Wow” Toy: Select a quality “wow” toy such as a doll, soccer ball with pump, or stuffed animal.  (Please don’t include: Candy; toothpaste; gum; used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; food, liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items; aerosol cans.)
3. Fill with Gifts: Add other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies.
4. Pray: Most importantly, pray for the child who will receive your gift.
5. Include $9 Donation: A donation of $9 per box is needed to transport your gift and deliver it into the hands of a child in need.  Enclose your check inside the lid of your box or give online (preferred) at to Follow Your Box and you will receive information about the destination of your shoebox.
6. Bring your box back to Liberty by November 24th.
